First & Second Week: Application Processing
Once we receive your order, we’ll apply to the ‘Power Network’ to inform them that we want to install a solar PV grid connect system on your property. We will attempt to register this application within one week, depending on how speedily we get the required information.
Second & Third Week: Approval Process
Once your application is registered, we typically get approval to install a solar PV grid connect system in 3 to 5 working days. It might take some more time if your utility has requested a manual assessment or more information – In this case, Danco Electrical will hasten the process.
Fourth through Twelfth Week: Installation Process
You’ll be assigned a dedicated account manager who will work with you to schedule a date to have your solar system installed. Once the installation is complete, we’ll brief you on the metering process, known as Meter upgrade – connection to the grid, and send you and your electricity distributor (if allowed) all the required information. It usually includes all the paperwork you or your electricity retailer need to raise a service work request to upgrade your meter.
